BILLINGS — Rocky Mountain College received highest marks in WalletHub's 2020 Best Colleges and Universities Rankings as the top school in the State of Montana.
Rocky is the only Montana school honored in the rankings, which compares institutions across the country on their overall value to students.
“This designation underscores our commitment to offering a high-quality, accessible educational experience for all,” said RMC President, Robert Wilmouth, M.D.
“Rocky Mountain College has always described itself as the ‘College of the Open Door,’ and it is a compliment to the hard work of our faculty and staff to be ranked in this study," he said.
WalletHub compared public and private institutions of higher education in the U.S. and ranked the top 1,000 across 33 key measures to determine the top-performing schools at the lowest cost to undergraduates.
The data set is grouped into seven categories, including student selectivity, cost & financing, faculty resources, campus safety, campus experience, educational outcomes, and career outcomes.
The metrics include student-faculty ratios, graduation rates, and post-attendance median salaries.
