BILLINGS — The third annual October presentation of the cult classic musical "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" will be shown at Billings’s historic Babcock Theatre this Saturday night, October 26th, for one night only.
The iconic counterculture film has been a staple of independent and arthouse theaters since its release in 1975, often associated with “midnight movie” screenings, and to many it is a ritualistic event to attend a show on a regular basis.
As is custom, the Babcock encourages the audience to dress in costume and take part in the traditional “audience participation,” complete with scripted shout-out responses and props (for care of the historic property, they ask to please refrain from using props involving food or water).
Art House has already sold over 225 tickets to Saturday’s 9 p.m. showing at the Babcock Theatre, which seats 700.
They encourage moviegoers to purchase tickets in-advance to guarantee their spot at this year’s event.
Tickets are currently still available at $8 for adults, $7 for seniors, students, or military.
