ROBERTS — One person was sent to the hospital with severe burn injuries after an accidental gas explosion occurred at a home north of Roberts around 10:30 a.m. Saturday, according to Randy Bevries, fire chief for the Roberts Rural Fire District.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation, but one person was inside the home when the explosion occurred. Bevries said the person was transported to the Beartooth Billings Clinic in Red Lodge.
Bevries said the home received extensive damage in the blast.
