Authorities identify motorcyclist killed in Billings crash

BILLINGS — Update 3:30 p.m.

The motorcyclist killed in a two-motorcycle crash late Saturday was identified as Kenton Youngbear-Lovan, 55 of Billings.

The Yellowstone County Coroner's Office ruled the manner of death accidental, and the cause was blunt force injuries.

Youngbear-Lovan was riding his motorcycle just before midnight Sunday when he and another motorcycle rider crashed near the intersection of Fourth Avenue North and North 24th Street.

Youngbear-Lovan was pronounced dead at the scene. The other rider, who has not been identified, was taken to a local hospital.



(first report) One person is dead and another was critically injured after an accident involving two motorcycles late Saturday night.

The crash happened at 4th Avenue North and North 24th Street just before midnight on Sunday.

Billings police said on Twitter that one of the drivers was pronounced dead on the scene, with the other being taken by ambulance to the hospital.

The road was closed for more than 5 hours before re-opening at 5 a.m.
