BILLINGS — For most, Labor Day is a time spent with family and friends enjoying time-off. But for local first responders, it’s a day of hard work ensuring our communities are safe. Since 2002, Olive Garden has served more than 14,000 meals to first responders on Labor Day, and this year is no different.

This Labor Day, for the 18th consecutive year, all of Olive Garden’s more than 850 restaurants nationwide will demonstrate the brand’s spirit of Italian generosity by catering a complimentary lunch to a first responder organization in their community as a way to give back to those who protect and serve each and every day.

First responders will enjoy guest-favorite combinations from Olive Garden’s catering and delivery menu, like Fettuccine Alfredo and Spaghetti and Meatballs. And, of course, every meal will also include Olive Garden’s iconic salad and breadsticks.

Steve Kramarich, General Manager of the Billings Olive Garden said he and his crew will be delivering meals to all seven of the Billings Fire stations as well as the Heights station.

"In my 17 years as GM here, I have been able to participate in every one," said Kramarich.

The event will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. with the first delivery to Fire Station 1, located at 2305 8th Avenue North at 11:30 a.m.
