Update: Evacuations ordered in Musselshell County for wildfires

Update 8:32 p.m. The fire has jumped Fattig Creek Road heading south toward the Signal Peak mine.

Update 6:42 p.m. Additional evacuations have been ordered at Turkey Trot Drive, Bruner Mountain Road, Pine Cone Lane, Lookout Lane, Taylor Mesa Lane, Spring Hollow Lane, Otter Trail and everyone in the Hidden Springs subdivision and along South Fattig Creek Road between the mine and 1035 South Fattig Creek Road or the old Brown Ranch.



Update 6 p.m. Fire is burning in timber to the southeast of Roundup south of Johnny Coal Road.

Heavy sustained winds are pushing the fire to the south.

Two heavy and two single-engine air tankers are working the fire along numerous county, state, and federal engine crews.

Update 4:40 p.m. Evacuations have been ordered in multiple areas of Musselshell County: Bobcat Lane ,Bear Road, Lazy R way, Deer Lane, Cobie Lane, Johnny's Coal Road, Lennick Road, Beard Road, Crocus Road, Elk, Lane, Smith Road, Outlaw Trail, Wilson Road.

Multiple fires have broken out in Musselshell County, according to the county's Department of Emergency Services.

Two main ones are on Bobcat Lane and off High 5 Road in Melstone.

Fire crews are in both locations.

Emergency officials are telling the public not to call dispatch for information because the lines are being used to coordinate resources.
