BILLINGS — A 77 year-old man was transported by ambulance to a Billings hospital after he crashed his three wheeler on Airport Road according to a tweet from the Billings Police Department Friday afternoon.
According to Sgt. Shane Winden, the man was traveling east on a three wheeled motorcycle when he attempted a U-turn from the east bound shoulder and was hit by another eastbound car driven by a 20 year-old woman.
The man was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
He was not wearing a helmet. Neither drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash. The man was cited for the crash.
