BILLINGS — With Thanksiving on Thursday, the downtown holiday parade Friday, as well as Black Friday, the relatively new "holiday," Small Business Saturday allows folks to take a break from the whirlwind of the season by stepping out into the local neighborhoods and support local businesses.

The relatively new holiday was started back in 2010 and highlights the values of shopping small and supporting local.

Q2's Jenny Fick was able to visit one of Billings's local small business, Liberty and Vine Country store, who say it gives a chance for the mom and pop shops to share in the holiday spending too.

The Billings Chamber of Commerce has a fun way for the community to get involved in Small Business Saturday.

A downloadable game-board can be found on the Chamber'swebsite.

Shoppers have to get each space marked by a small business vendor on the board, and once 10 spaces are filled, they will be entered in a drawing for prizes.
