Four people escaped safely from a structure fire Sunday morning near downtown Billings that caused $100,000 in estimated damage.
The Billings Fire Department responded around 9:15 a.m. to 111 Terry Avenue, near Montana Ave.
Battalion Chief Kevin Johnson said the fire destroyed a basement laundry-utility room and extended up through the floor onto the main level.
None of the four inhabitants was injured and the cause is still under investigation.
