BILLINGS-
A midtown house sustained extensive damage after a structure fire broke out inside the residence Sunday afternoon.
Engines responded to a call at 431 Lewis Avenue around 4 P.M., and found smoke and flames coming mainly from the back side near the alley.
Battalion Chief Darrek Mitchell says there was lots of fuel inside creating multiple hot spots.
A single male occupant did escape safely and without injury.
Officials estimate that around $200,000 in damage was done, which included the north side of the house and back yard shed.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time.
