ROBERTS — A happy update on the 57 dogs removed from a property in Roberts.
The dogs were seized after Carbon County officials received complaints from Roberts residents about the animals' well-being.
Some of the dogs had puppies while in the county's custody, and all of the dogs available to be adopted have now found homes.
The owners will not be prosecuted as long as they meet the terms set by the county, according to Carbon County Sheriff Josh McQuillan.
The dogs were primarily Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
Carbon County Officials credit the Beartooth Humane Alliance with helping to make the process so successful.
