Fires crews quickly extinguished a wildfire that burned about 25 acres west of Red Lodge Wednesday afternoon.
The fire got "out of control" off the Upper Luther Road west of town and burned mostly grass and sagebrush, according to Red Lodge Fire and Rescue.
Crews from Roberts Fire, Absarokee Fire, Columbus Fire and the Forest Service provided assistance.
