BILLINGS — The American Legion, along with the five Billings and Laurel Exchange Clubs, will be hosting a Veteran's Day celebration chili cook off.
The event will be held from 11 am until 2 pm at the American Legion, located at 1540 Broadwater Avenue.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Veterans Meat Locker, an organization that helps veterans by providing frozen processed meat for them and their families.
Veterans Meat Locker will be on site distributing free meat during the event.
No veteran will be turned away, regardless of branch or service record.
The cook off is free to all veterans and $10 for all others.
Admission includes cups to sample the chilies and one bowl of their choice. Hot dogs will also be available.
