Billings woman injured in fatal Wyoming crash

A fatal crash occurred Friday around milepost 216 on US 310 north of Greybull, Wyo, according to the Wyoming Highway patrol.

Around 3:23 p.m., troopers were dispatched to the area for a motor vehicle collision.

A 2008 Ford Fusion headed north on US 310 when the driver lost control of the car on the snow-covered roadway. The Ford crossed into the southbound lane and collided with a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia commercial vehicle.

The driver of the Ford was identified as 46-year-old Greybull resident Jason A. Haworth.

Haworth was not wearing his seatbelt and succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash.

The passenger in the Ford was identified as 40-year-old Billings resident Michelle L. Bien. She was wearing a seatbelt and flown by helicopter to a hospital in Billings. Her condition was not released.

The driver of the Freightliner has been identified as 61-year-old Billings resident Mark A. Grabinski. He was wearing a seatbelt and not injured.

Speed on the part of Haworth is being investigated as a possible contributing factor.
