Firefighters knocked down a house fire on Billings South Side Thursday night, their second structure fire of the evening.
Firefighters responded about 6:15 p.m. to small house that fully involved around the 200 block of South 28th Street, Battalion Chief Kevin Bentz said.
Firefighters initially thought one person was in the residence, but he was found later outside, Bentz said. The fire was out within 10 minutes.
No one was injured.
The crew was short-handed because firefighters were still at the scene at another structure fire in town where two trailer homes were heavily damaged, Bentz said.
