BILLINGS — With less than a month until November's election for Billings City Council, the Billings Chamber of Commerce has picked its favorites.
The chamber endorsed candidates in wards 1, 4, and 5, but did not choose to endorse anyone in ward 2 or 3 for the Nov. 5 general election.
In Ward 1, Kendra Shaw, who was tops in the primary election in her ward, received the endorsement. She is facing off against John Armstrong.
In Ward 4, Carmelita Dominguez got the boost from the chamber. She was second in the primary election and will face Pam Purinton.
And in Ward 5, Mike Boyett got the chamber's nod. He topped his ward in the primary and is going against Dennis Ulvestad.
Roy Neese and Randy Heinz are facing off in ward 2.
And Danny Choriki and Aldo Rowe are vying for votes in Ward 3.
If you'd like to hear for yourself, all 10 candidates will square up for a candidate forum at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Billings Public Library.
