BILLINGS – Children had a chance to experience other countries in Billings on Sunday.
The 26th annual Festival of Cultures took up the area on the green at Rocky Mountain College.
The Institute for Peace Studies event brings people together for food, dance, music and art.
It draws from all over the area and is a is a chance for everyone to enjoy differences in culture.
“We have groups from Great Falls that have been down this year and we have Red Lodge so we believe in expanding,” said Quincy Walter, executive director of Institute for Peace Studies. “And culture is something that is so different to each of us. I’m Czechoslovakian and Irish but I’m also American and I’m a Montanan. So culture is something that is different to each individual.”
Twenty-nine vendors came to Rocky and Walter wants to make it bigger next year.
