UPDATE – Billings Police Sergeant Bret Becker told Q2 that no one was injured in a Tuesday night crash on the Rims.

Becker said a red Pontiac, driven by a 17-year-old Billings boy, T-boned a silver minivan turning left out of the Swords Park parking lot.

The force of the impact caused the minivan to spin on its wheels, knocking over a light pole. The car came to rest upright in the ditch on the north side of Airport road.

Becker said the 54-year-old Billings woman driving the minivan did not see the Pontiac on her right when she pulled out of the parking lot.

Becker said the woman was transported to a Billings hospital as a precaution.

Becker said, the 17-year-old male in the Pontiac was not injured.

Everyone involved in the crash was wearing a seat belt.
