BILLINGS- For drivers excited about the new 10-mile stretch of roadway between Rockvale and Laurel, Mother Nature is raining on that parade.
According to project spokesperson Tracey Miller with KLJ Engineering, the recent inundation of rain has forced a delay of the project.
The new timeline suggests another three to four weeks of paving and construction work left to be done.
Miller says the wet weather doesn’t lend itself to being conducive to construction.
For those still traveling through the construction zone, continue to follow the detour signs and all traffic signage.
