BILLINGS- Zimmerman Trail reopened about 3 p.m. Wednesday, the Billings public works department posted on its Facebook page.
City and state crews had anticipated the reopening yesterday. They had been working since late June to build a new roundabout atop the Rims at Highway 3 and make other improvements to the road.
After it opened, the crew posed for a photo:
