Billings — A 34 year old Billings woman crashed her car into a house, Saturday afternoon.

This all started with a reckless driving call to the 500 Block of Lewis Ave.

The woman was driving a black Chevy Suburban Eastbound on Lewis Ave.

She was called in for reckless driving just moments before she crashed into the house.

Sgt. Cagle with the Billings Police Department said, “a car in the oncoming lane had to swerve out of the way to avoid the reckless driver.”

She continued eastbound on Lewis until a witness said she suddenly swerved into the front yard of 144 Lewis ave, hitting the residence and disconnecting a fire hydrant.

Minimal damage was done to the house and no one was injured in the crash.

The driver of the Suburban was taken to a Billings hospital.

Alcohol is a suspected factor in this crash.
