Two employees at two different state health offices in Billings have tested positive for COVID-19.

The positive cases came from the Office of Public Assistance (OPA) and Child and Family Services Division (CFSD).

The CFSD employee tested positive last week and the OAF employee tested positive this week, according Jon Ebelt, public information officer for the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS).

Both are on 14-day home isolation and working with RiverStone Health, which has been conducting contact tracing.

The CFSD employee gave close contacts to Riverstone Health. The OPA employee did not have contact with the public.

In March, the DPHHS closed offices to the public.

Ebelt said in an email that both offices have been working with COVID-19 safety measures.
