The two people killed in a head-on crash with a Busby school bus Thursday morning were a father and daughter from Billings.
It happened on Highway 212 between Ashland and Lame Deer.
Aubree Wallery, 28, was driving a 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer, and her father Steven Wallery,59, was in the passenger seat.
Montana Highway Patrol reported the Mitsubishi was heading east and negotiating a right curve when the small car crossed over the center line and crashed head-on into the Busby school bus heading west.
Rosebud County Coroner Frank Arb said both died on scene. Aubree Wallery was wearing her seat belt. Steven Wallery was not.
A 27-year-old male school bus monitor was inured and transported to the Lame Deer hospital.
Montana Highway Patrol says the 43-year-old school bus driver and student on the bus were not injured, but were both transported to the Lame Deer hospital.
Speed was considered a possible factor, according to the highway patrol. Alcohol and drugs were not factors, troopers said.
