BUSBY — A 17-year-old male died in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 212 west of Busby on Saturday after his vehicle hit a horse on the road, according to Montana Highway Patrol.
The teen was eastbound on Highway 212 near mile marker 23 when he struck the horse at around 9 p.m.
The teen was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead on scene, according to MHP.
Road conditions were dry and clear at the time of the crash. Speed is considered a factor, according to MHP.
