BILLINGS — A family from Spokane is on its way to Boston Children’s Hospital and stopped in Billings this weekend.

Four-year old Noah Alderson needs heart surgery.

The only transportation that will work for him is a motorhome, which was gifted through Outdoorsy, a company that connects RV owners with renters.

The family stopped in Billings on its way to the Boston Children's Hospital.

Many are helping, including KOA Kampgrounds.

The Aldersons stayed in Billings last night.

The KOA is hosting the family at nine campgrounds along their journey- before reaching Boston.

"For us I feel this gift is more than just like a car. this is like a ride to save my son's life,” said Tanasha Alderson, Noah’s mother.

"It's a big project to move a young guy with that much challenge all the way across the country,” said Mike Gast, KOA Inc. VP of communication. “And as Tanasha said, it all just came together, piece by piece by piece. And we're just so happy that KOA could be a piece of that."

The Aldersons expect to arrive in Boston on August 14 and Noah's surgery is scheduled for the 20th.
