Reward offered for information on poached mule deer

BILLINGS — Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is offering a reward for information related to a mule deer buck that was killed and left to waste last weekend near Lockwood, according to a press release Monday morning.

Game wardens responded to a tip and found the carcass next to Old Hardin Road southeast of Lockwood.

They believe the deer was killed illegally either Oct. 16 or 17.

FWP is offering a cash reward as much as $1,000 for information leading to the conviction of the person or persons responsible.
