Police said Friday the husband and wife found dead in a Cody residence both died of gunshot wounds.
Gary Finnicum, 63, and Danielle Finnicum, 52, were found dead Thursday in the Valley View subdivision in southwest Cody.
Police said they responded to the residence to perform a welfare check.
Police said they are not seeking a suspect in connection with the deaths, and the community is not in danger.
Autopsies are scheduled for Monday. The investigation remains active as detectives await the results of forensic examinations.
(original report) Authorities in Wyoming are investigating the deaths of a married couple in the Valley View subdivision in southwest Cody.
The Cody Police Department said in a news release that officers responded Thursday to a welfare check involving the couple on South Fork Street.
The husband and wife were both found dead, according to Cody police.
Police said they do not believe the public is in danger, but the circumstances of their deaths is under investigation.
Police did not identify the couple.
