BUTTE - Butte police arrested a man in the act of burglarizing a local business early Friday morning.
Police were called to the Front Street market just after 4 a.m. when the burglar alarm went off and found a man inside the business climbing through the roof access.
The suspect made it outside and was found hiding in a ditch near the business.
Police accuse 29-year-old Jacob Elkins of Butte of felony burglary and having a small amount of meth on him.
He remains jailed.
