Update 6:45 p.m.
One person was shot Wednesday afternoon on the 200 block of South 27th Street, according to Billings police.
The victim suffered what police called a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was not cooperative. The victim was taken to a hospital.
No one was arrested. Police are continuing to investigate.
Police were seen searching the Colonial Apartments for a possible suspect.
(original report) Billings police responded to an apparent shooting on the South Side Wednesday evening.
RiverStone Health CEO Jon Forte, who was near the incident, told MTN News that the incident appeared to happen outside, and the victim came over to the area of the Colonial Apartments on South 27th Street.
Police were also seen searching the apartments for a possible suspect.
