One man was arrested, a woman suffered a broken arm and a Billings police officer was injured following a domestice-violence call Thursday afternoon in Billings.
Marcus Jan Crans, 41 of Yuba City, Calif., was arrested and faces charges of partner family member assault and obstructing a police officer, according to Billings police.
Police responded to a report of domestic violence just before 1 p.m. at a residence and found the female victim with a broken arm. Police did not say where the incident happened.
Police said the suspect, Crans, ran when police arrived but was caught a few blocks later.
During the chase, a Billings police officer was climbing a chain-link and "impaled" his hand on the top, according to police. He received stitches and will recover, police said.
On this date, at approx 1256 hours, officers responded to a domestic abuse call in which the female vic's arm was broke by the defendant, her boyfriend. Upon arrival, the def fled on foot from officers, but was captured a few blocks away.

During the foot pursuit, an officer was scaling a chain link fence and the top "unfinished" portion impaled his hand. Officer is ok and receiving stitches.
