Billings police investigating shooting in Pioneer Park

UPDATE – Billings Police Sergeant Harley Cagle said the boys involved in the shooting were aged 16 or 17, one 18-year-old, and one 14-year-old.

Cagle said dispatch received multiple calls at about 3:45 a.m Sunday morning claiming to hear shots fired in the Pioneer Park area.

Cagle was not able to give any details regarding the circumstances of the shooting, but he did say the three boys are not cooperating with police, at this time.

It is not clear which boy is still in the hospital.

BILLINGS – According to a tweet issued by the Billings Police Department on Sunday, a shooting occurred early Sunday morning in Pioneer Park.

Sgt. Cagle said that as of Sunday afternoon, two of the victims had been released, while one other remained hospitalized.
