POLSON - Authorities are investigating the deaths of three people whose bodies were found in a home near Polson.
Lake County Sheriff Don Bell said deputies were dispatched to a residence outside of Polson at around 2:30 p.m. on Monday for a report of suspicious activity.
The bodies of one adult male and two young children were discovered in the single-family home.
Bell said the initial investigation indicates the deaths were a case of murder-suicide.
The bodies have been taken to the Montana State Crime Lab in Missoula so that autopsies can be performed.
No other information was immediately released.
