Second COVID-19 death reported in Big Horn County, 19th in Montana

On Saturday, Big Horn County reported the second death in the county attributed to COVID-19.

A post on the Big Horn County responds to Covid-19 Facebook page said the person who died was a man in his 80s.

Gov. Steve Bullock issued the following statement in response to the 19th death in the state due to the coronavirus:

“With another tragic loss of life to COVID-19 and as we keep their loved ones in our hearts, we are again reminded that we are all neighbors in Montana and we have the responsibility to look out for one another. The virus is still here with us and we must act with the safety of our parents and grandparents in mind.”

No further details about the man who died in Big Horn County were immediately available. We will update this story as we get more information.
