Musselshell County reports 1st COVID-19 case as state total rises to 198

Musselshell County has its first case of COVID-19 as the number of cases in Montana rose to 198 Tuesday afternoon, according to Montana Response COVID-19 tracker.

The Musselshell County case is a man in his 60s.

One new death was reported Tuesday afternoon, increasing the state's total to five. The county of residence was not reported in the state's totals. The state is reporting 19 hospitalizations related to COVID-19.

In addition, Yellowstone County added two new cases, bringing the total countywide to 30. Those two cases were a man in his 80s and a man in his 50s.

In the Tuesday afternoon count, five new cases were reported in Gallatin County. One new case was reported three other counties: Lewis and Clark, Cascade and Toole.

Gov. Steve Bullock also announced Tuesday that 32 people have recovered from the disease.
