Montana reports 23 new COVID-19 cases

Montana reported 23 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, according to the Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map.

Gallatin County recorded the most new cases with eight, bringing the active case total to 41. Yellowstone County added five new cases pushing its active case total to 39.

Missoula County added three cases, while Carbon County, Cascade County, Flathead County, Glacier County Lewis and Clark County and Park County all added one new case.

There are a total of 852cumulative cases statewide, according to state health officials, and currently there are 226 active cases in Montana. MTN is reporting one fewer total case and one fewer recovered case due to a case in Jefferson County that local health authorities report involved a patient who was not in the state.

The state conducted 1,086 tests in the 24-hour reporting period to push the total to 81,247. There have been 95 hospitalizations, nine of which are active.

There have been 604 recoveries and 22 deaths.
