Montana added 11 confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, according to the Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map.
Lake County saw the biggest overnight increase, adding four confirmed cases to push its total case count to 16. Yellowstone County added two confirmed cases, while Gallatin County, Glacier County, Jefferson County, Silver Bow County and Ravalli County all added one case.
Gallatin County has 42 active cases, the most in the state. Yellowstone County has 41 active cases and neighboring Big Horn County has 31 active cases.
There are a total of 863 confirmed cases statewide, according to state health officials, and currently there are 237 active cases in Montana. MTN is reporting one fewer total case and one fewer recovered case due to a case in Jefferson County that local health authorities report involved a patient who was not in the state.
The state conducted 1,227 tests in the 24-hour reporting period to push the total to 82,747. There have been 97 hospitalizations, 11of which are active.
There have been 604 recoveries and 22 deaths.
