Montana COVID-19 cases rise to 227, deaths remain at 5

Montana added 10 new COVID-19 cases Thursday morning, pushing the state total to 227, according to the Montana Response COVID-19 tracker.

Yellowstone County added three new case, bringing the total to 34.

Gallatin County, with the highest number of cases in the state, added nine cases for a new total of 85.

Two new cases were reported in both Flathead County and Missoula County, and Park County added one new case.

The statewide death toll remains at 5.

The state's COVID-19 tracker is updated twice daily at 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The tracker shows 20 people are hospitalized for treatment of COVID-19, and the state has completed 5,320 tests for the disease.
