Montana state health officials reported 65 new COVID-19 cases on Monday pushing the cumulative number of cases past 5,000, according to the Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map.
Flathead County reported the most new cases with 17, followed by Yellowstone County with 10 and Big Horn County with nine. Gallatin County reported eight new cases, and Silver Bow County reported seven.
New cases were reported in seven other Montana counties.

The cumulative total of COVID-19 cases in Montana now stands at 5,017. There have been 3,413 recoveries and there are currently 1,529 active cases in the state.
Yellowstone County continues to show the most active cases with the newest report showing 569. Big Horn County currently has 284 active cases, Missoula County has 95 and Flathead County has 60.
Active Cases
There are currently 80 people hospitalized with the virus, and the number of deaths remains at 75.
There have been 193,405 tests performed, an increase of 3,459 tests during the previous 24-hour reporting period.
