Big Horn County reported one new COVID-19 case Monday afternoon, bringing total cases in the county to 31.
The new case, a man in his 50s, was asymptomatic and tested positive at one of surveillance testing events in May 27 and 28 in the county, according to Health Officer Rhonda Johnson.
Eight people in Big Horn County have recovered, and the remaining 23 active cases are recovering in isolation, according to Johnson.
The new case brings the total Montana cases to 520. The state now has 42 active cases.
MTN is reporting one fewer total case and one fewer recovered case due to a case in Jefferson County that local health authorities report involved a patient who was not in the state.
