Big Horn County announced two COVID-19 related deaths on Sunday, increasing the death toll to 21.
One of the deceased was a man in his 60s who was hospitalized prior to his death, and the other was a man in his 80s who had not been hospitalized prior to death.
Big Horn County also announced 10 additional new cases of COVID-19. Nine patients presented with symptoms and one was asymptomatic when tested. Seven patients likely contracted the virus through community spread, as there are no known contacts with previous cases at this time. Three were reportedly found through contact tracing.
Recoveries at Big Horn County remain at 676. There are 110 active cases. Of those active cases, 98 patients are quarantining and recovering at home. There are Big Horn County residents currently hospitalized.
