5 more COVID-19 cases confirmed at Columbus assisted living facility

Five more people have tested positive for COVID-19 at a Columbus assisted living facility, bringing the total outbreak to 14.

The Caslen Meadowlark Assisted Living Facility announced Tuesday that two staff members and three residents tested positive more recently.

The total infected include seven employees and seven residents. One person has died, and another is in an out-of-county hospital.

The new cases brings the total infected in Stillwater County to 98, which includes 41 active cases.

Stillwater Billings Clinic, as well as the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services, continues to be in close contact with Caslen Meadowlark Assisted Living Facility in Columbus, assisting in the ongoing management of the outbreak.
