MISSOULA — Authorities have released the names of the two people whose bodies were found on Saturday in Missoula County.

Missoula County Sheriff and Coroner TJ McDermott said that the body of Robert Louis Foshag, 59, of Missoula was discovered in an irrigation ditch off of South Fourth Street.

The Missoula Police Department is still investigating the case and the body was taken to the Montana State Crime Lab so that an autopsy can be performed.

Sheriff McDermott also reported that Jeremiah Colin Spotted Blanket, 34, of St. Ignatius has been identified as the body that was discovered in a field near the old Smurfit Stone plant in the Frenchtown area.

The Missoula County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the incident and Spotted Blanket's body has been taken to the Montana State Crime Lab so that an autopsy can be performed.

Sheriff McDermott noted that there is currently no evidence connecting these two investigations.
