BILLINGS – Vice President Mike Pence’s visit to Billings caused road closures and delays all day Wednesday.
One of the closures was Interstate 90 westbound for Pence’s motorcade.
Around 2:45 p.m., an accident on1-90 east slowed traffic, and emergency responders had a difficult time getting to the accident due to the closure of the westbound lanes.
Emergency vehicles eventually were able to park on the westbound shoulder and navigate to respond to the accident near the Lockwood exit on 1-90 east.
It wasn’t immediately clear whether anyone was injured in that crash.
