BILLINGS – Two people were transported to a Billings hospital after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of King Avenue East and Riverside Road Tuesday evening.
According to Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Casey Graff, the crash happened around 6:30 p.m.
Graff said a black BMW SUV traveling south on Riverside Road hit a Ford pickup hauling a trailer carrying a small excavator.
Graff said the SUV ran the stop sign at Riverside Road as the pickup was turning onto Riverside Road from King Avenue East.
Two occupants in the SUV were transported to a Billings hospital. Graff said their injuries appeared to him to be minor.
The driver of the pickup was walking around on the scene.
The crash is still under investigation to determine who was at fault.
Crews from the Billings Fire Department and American Medical Response had the intersection fully open shortly after 7 p.m.
