The military, law enforcement, Avitus and Stockman Bank came together to make a better Christmas for kids.
Stockman Bank hosted the fourth annual “Pack the Patrol Car,” which is a collection for “Toys for Tots.”
The parking lot and location draw people who may be shopping in west Billings.
The U.S. Marine Corps and the Montana Highway Patrol make for an extra special event.
“These folks that serve our community, the Marines, the highway patrol to come here and spend their time doing this, volunteerism, again to bless our community,” said Wayne Nelson, Stockman Bank president. “During the holiday season, we just open our heart and provide gifts to families to bless them.”
“It’s extremely important for the troopers to get involved in community work projects,” said Captain Keith Edgell of the Montana Highway Patrol. “Toys for Tots is just a great way to support the Marine Corps. Supports the community.”
Tres Chic Salon, Bretz RV & Marine and the Moss Mansion also hosted Toys for Tots collections on Saturday.
