The Montana Highway Patrol cleared several crashes on Interstate 90, east of Lockwood
Trooper Ben Kecskes responded to a report of a semi crash around 6:44 a.m., on eastbound I-90 at mile marker 472.
When he arrived on scene a semi had overturned and no one was injured.
At 7:06 a.m., a second semi crashed because of snow and ice on the road.
The second crash blocked the eastbound passing land and partially the right lane.
At 7:09 a.m., two vehicles crashed and slid off the road.
Kecskes said three troopers and two Yellowstone County Sheriff’s deputies worked to clear nine crashes.
He said snow and ice along with driving too fast for the conditions were the causes of the crashes.
