BILLINGS- Officials with Billings Clinic celebrated the construction kickoff of their new dialysis center in north Billings Wednesday.

The new 114,309-square-foot dialysis center will be completed in the summer of 2019 at the corner of Seventh Avenue North and North 25th Street. The $3.9 million project is a joint venture between Billings Clinic and Dialysis Clinic Inc.

The new dialysis center will provide twice the space and easy ground-level access for patients near the main downtown Billings Clinic camps, hospital officials said. The center will have 36 dialysis chairs and four rooms.

“It ensures we can meet the growing need for these vital dialysis treatments. Our new center, will be a great addition to this neighborhood and to the core of our city,” said Randy Gibb, Billings Clinic CEO, in a written statement.

Local architects, engineers and contractors CTA, Sanderson Stewart and Fisher Construction Inc. of Billings are building and designing the center.
