Temperatures take another step up Wednesday and continue to rise through Saturday.
Thanks to a very strong high-pressure ridge across the Western U.S., highs will be mainly in the mid-90s Wednesday with triple digit temperatures possible Friday and Saturday in some locations.
Some record high temperatures could be broken.
Overnight temperatures will be mainly in the 50s and 60s Thursday morning, but could be as warm as the upper 60s early Saturday.
Expect light wind and a clear sky.
A cold front Saturday will bring wind and the possibility of dry thunderstorms increasing fire risk.
Temperatures will cool back to the 80s for the highs on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday but conditions will stay dry.

Wednesday night… Clear with a low of about 62.
Thursday… More sun and more heat with a light wind. High around 97.
