Clear skies and pleasant temperatures will define this August Saturday afternoon.
Overnight and into the morning clouds will build into the area and by the afternoon it is likely that we see some scattered rain and storms, much like we have over the past couple of days.
The conditions are not right for severe weather development, but there is enough moisture in the atmosphere that slow moving storms could produce locally high precipitation totals on Sunday evening.
Temperatures will also be much cooler tomorrow as highs will likely stay shy of the 80 degree mark.
After Sunday we turn a corner heading into the work week. things will clear out and heat up over the course of the week. By the end of the week we could be talking about some unseasonably hot temperatures well into the upper 90s.
