For the next couple of days, the temperatures are hot and the chance of thunderstorms pops up in the afternoon and evening.
Wednesday and Thursday will continue with the above normal temperatures, with highs in the upper 80s to mid 90s. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms for Wednesday afternoon and evening, and a slightly better chance of storms on Thursday.
A few isolated storms could produce some stronger wind gusts Wednesday afternoon and evening, but most of the activity will be in the mountains and adjacent foothills.
A better chance of thunderstorms arrives Thursday as a Pacific cold front moves through. Gusty winds are possible with any storm with low humidity,. So the potential of wildfire starts is elevated.
Friday will be dry and breezy, with cooler temperatures over the weekend. Highs Saturday and Sunday will be in the 80s.

Thursday… Mostly sunny and hot with a high around 94. A 30% chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms that would likely produce gusty winds.
